Sean Lucas

Former, CFL Defenseman Sean Lucas was born in Atlanta, GA to Vicky Franklin and Harold Lucas. He grew up in Atlanta and participated in several sports and went on to earn a full athletic football scholarship to Tulane University, where he majored in finance. While at Tulane he was a force on the field earning all conference honors at cornerback and was a major contributor in the school’s 2002 Hawaii Bowl victory. After college he landed an opportunity in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Sean played had a 6 year career including playing in 2 Grey Cups, being a member of the 2007 championship and receiving all-star honors in 2009. After retirement 2012, he earned a graduate certificate in wine business management and went on to manage a wine import agency. He married his wife Mina in 2013.
